The Nexcom MRC2100 fully rugged tablet PC is the latest addition to the Steatite range. Based on the new Intel Atom processor the MRC2100 offers an 8.4" display and integrated camera with options to upgrade to a sunlight readable screen, optional GPS, support for low temperature operation. The MRC2100 is rated Military Standard 810F.

The MRC2100 offers an array of communication options including 802.11b/g/n wireless networking and Bluetooth 2.0. Other upgrade options include a laser barcode scanner, an integrated RFID reader and a 3G / HSDPA wireless communications module allowing for remote net access.

Dual independent displays are also supported via the optional docking station allowing you to use the MRC2100 as you would a standard desktop PC. Water and dust proof to the IP54 standard, the MRC2100 adds several security features in addition to an integrated fingerprint reader and an Infineon TPM (trusted platform module) 1.2 chip. This makes the MRC2100 series an ideal platform for use in a wide variety of secure applications.
